well, it seems that preventing spammers is harder to do than i thought. i have installed different protection mechanisms resulting in no new registrations and postings since then.
that´s definitely not what i wanted to end with so i´m busy with searching the errors. one has been found and deleted so far. if you saw a message like that:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '/' in
/mounted-storage/home8/sub002/sc15274-EGMK/www/yorg/ssl-forum/language/lang_english/lang_main.php on line 1053

that should be fixed by now.

please report any problems that occur - still hoping that i can fix everything without de-installing spam protection again.
